Manageing E-mail Forwarders

Forwarders allow you to change how the delivery of mail takes place. A forwarder will send a copy of all mail from one account to another. For example: You have two accounts called joseph@mydomain.com and joe@mydomain but you only want to check joe@mydomain.com to receive mail from both accounts. You can set up a forwarder from joseph@mydomain.com to joe@mydomain.com so all messages sent to joseph@mydomain.com will en up in joe@mydomain.coms inbox.

When accessing an email account through a desktop email application such as Outlook Express, the email application will require specific information about that email account. You can use the auto-configure options to attempt to automatically configure your email application. If the available options are not compatible with your application, you will need to use the Manual Settings information to configure the application.
Manual Settings information:
Mail Server Username: emailaccount%2bdomain.com
Incoming Mail Server: mail.domain.com
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.domain.com (server requires authentication) port 26
Supported Incoming Mail Protocols: POP3, POP3S (SSL/TLS), IMAP, IMAPS (SSL/TLS) port 465
Supported Outgoing Mail Protocols: SMTP, SMTPS (SSL/TLS)

Managing Auto Responders

To send a message back automatically to anyone who sends an email to a certain account for an Out-Of-Office message or other use is only available upon request and is not installed be default.

It is strongly recommended that auto-responders be used sparingly and only for short periods of time in order to avoid finding your automatic responses being reported as spam or even blocked by ISPs.
